Technical difficulties
I can’t seem to write my vows, or read Aaron’s vows, or even read poetry in order to inspire my vows, without all of this water leaking out of my face.
It’s all over! No more wedding planning, three cheers for that. Just amazing memories, and a new husband.
Tomorrow we start picking up the flowers we’ve ordered. But, when I say flowers, I mean ‘foliage’. I’ve only ordered green things because I haven’t seen any flowers I actually like. Ho hum!

Also, remind me to find chairs for the reception. It turns out that hiring a bunch of matching bentwood chairs is crazy expensive. I think I shall just denude all the nearby dining rooms of their seats for the day. Heads up, nearby friends!
Thinking about food today. I should probably come up with some more specific instructions other than ‘really tasty stuff’.

Tomorrow is the Day of Visiting Delis. I am most excited about the buying of cheese. Probably moreso than any other part of the wedding preparation.

The next thing to organise: transport from the ceremony to the reception. It’s less than 2kms, but I’m wary about our original idea of bicycles and their compatability with my long dress.
Next choice - hire a couple of green cabs?

This is the dress, sssh!
I tried it on this morning to check that my Christmas diet of Too Much Food All The Time hadn’t caused too much trouble in the waist department, but it still fits. I did manage to completely destroy the zip, though, so it is currently at a tailors.
Ugh, Fi, this is why you can’t have nice things. Someone else better be doing the zipping up on the day.

All the materials for the invitations gathered and ready to be printed and painted on.
The white paper will be for the invitation itself, it’s seeded paper from Scrub Australia.

Mini honeymoon is booked! I am more excited about this than I should be.
